After a two-year hiatus from the Lawrence Home Show, Construction Specialties is returning in style. Our Lawrence Kansas remodeling company will showcase the newest trends for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and home additions. We will also welcome a variety of experts. Those local professionals will shed light on common misconceptions about the remodeling process. For example, Michelle Fales of Envista Credit Union will demystify the loan process for remodeling projects.

When And Where Is The Home Show?
The Lawrence Home Show is February 16th from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Day two of the show continues Sunday, February 17th from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The home show is every year at Crown Toyota Pavilion.

Good Energy Solutions Electrical Services will also drop by booth #57. We oftentimes partner with local electricians before a remodel begins. Sometimes homeowners think a remodel isn’t possible because of a variety of electrical considerations. J.J. Willems will join us at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

How Do Interior Designers and Remodeling Contractors Work Together?
One of Construction Specialties’ most symbiotic relationship is between our crew and an interior designer. Interior designers map out certain home decor elements that Construction Specialties can execute. Sarah Kellogg is a great example. She is a longtime Kansas City area interior designer. Kellogg specializes in every area of the home. You can see her portfolio on Houzz.com. Sarah will join us at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the home show. She will show off two idea boards. Homeowners interested in a remodel can browse the latest trends on materials, finishings, and other home decor elements.
